Theatre

SOTA students specialising in theatre will embark on a comprehensive learning journey that encompasses all aspects of performing, including directing, playwriting, critique, stage management, and production design.

 

Students will get to discover and develop their creative voice and vocabulary in theatre. They will also gain appreciation and respect for a range of theatre traditions, dramatic styles, forms, processes, practices, and conventions. The programme immerses students in a variety of social and cultural contexts, helping them develop the essential skills and appreciation for theatre-making and life-long learning.

  • Demonstrate an understanding of the practical and theoretical aspects of theatre, performance, and design, as well as the nuances of the various theatre traditions, forms, and conventions
